Ardingly College – with The Sussex Guild

A brand new event! Ardingly College – with the Sussex Guild   on 1st and 2nd June.

Following on from a new event in London, another new event comes along shortly after. (a bit like the buses!)

Depending on the space available – I may have my new stand set up – showing a collection of my Products as well as a number of one – off pieces.

The Location

Situated in the High Weald, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Hosting at this college The Sussex Guild makers will display their pieces in the light and airy buildings of the Chapel and the Old Dining Hall, and classrooms in its famed 19th century Gothic style red brick building.

Built in the 1800s, the College is steeped in history and set in 250 acres of beautiful West Sussex countryside. The elegant quadrangle has wonderful views to the thirty-seven arches of the renowned Ouse Valley (or Balcombe) Viaduct

Have you been to this area before?

Should you fancy a pub meal, the college is a mile away from Ardingly Village. If you’re in the area for the weekend, Wakehurst place is also nearby; managed by Kew Gardens and home to the Millennium Seed Bank, this wild botanic garden has over 500 acres of diverse landscapes and plants from across the globe.

See you there?

I am looking forward to this event – in a new area and also in a building! A number of the shows I attend are held in marquees – but 2024 is looking a bit more equal in this regard?
