| Colin Norgate designs and makes furniture, bespoke joinery as well as Sculptural turnings with specially selected timber to the clients specification. With over fifteen years experience of working in wood to a high standard of craftsmanship - This included a five year apprenticeship at the Edward Barnsley Workshops, with a further eight years as a craftsman in the renowned workshops.
Previous commissions include six offertory plates for Portsmouth Cathedral, other church work and furniture and turning in private collections.
Colin is a holder of a Guild mark (229) awarded by the Worshipful Company of Furniture makers.
With his experience - Colin will also be running short courses working with wood. |
