Colin Norgate - My events in 2020

An Update:

Although, sadly all my public shows were cancelled for 2020 – I held a event at my workshop at the beginning of December for those who were able to come to see my latest pieces made during lock down, but also to support the Petersfield Museum with a 20% donation on sales of local timber  products.

Between now and Christmas?

You are welcome to make an appointment to my workshop – if you wish to purchase some extra gifts…….

However – I am happy to deliver items locally in the Petersfield area, Please email me for procedures and availability.

Have a look at my Products to give you a few ideas? There are many items for him or her, to suit a wide range of budgets, for the indoors, the outdoors  or even learn a new skill / hobby?

You can order items online (photos can be taken of a small selection to give a limited choice of grain structures available).

I am glad to announce – The Surrey Guild Gallery has now reopened – 7 days a week from 11am – 4pm each day.

I will be on duty at The Surrey Guild on Sunday 13th, Saturday 19th, Sunday 20th and Wednesday 23rd December with a large variety of products taking a trip on my van! (if you cant find what you want in the Gallery?)

Colin Norgate – My events in 2020  – read on to see some of the projects I will be involved in 2021 (those which have been delayed hopefully only by 9 months)

With the Covid – 19 pandemic – events were gradually cancelled, as time progressed with the updates continuously changing – all was a bit uncertain when some shows will take place again……..

Colin Norgate – My events in 2020

After five years in the Sussex Guild shop at the end of February I left to have a break to create some new work in particular small furniture and batch items.

An opportunity came up to show at Haslemere Museum and shop – although this is now partially open with the shop again opening in December.

Later in the year – I hoped to show also at Petersfield Museum and shop – although in the midst of a major redevelopment project – I expect this will be 2021 due to the pandemic. (Latest predictions – Easter 2021

Both venues will eventually show my work featuring the use of local timbers as well as more specialised and one – off pieces.

I enjoyed one show this year at Hever Castle  .

Finally – with all my events in 2020 having been cancelled, there are a number of new pieces made during lock down that have not managed to really  see the “light of day”………. I hope to show these at some off my shows in 2021?

Why not have a look at my Craftsmanship / Shop page to see if you can choose an item for your festive list? – I am happy to get specific work out from their safe boxes in my showroom. You just need to Contact me to make an appointment at the workshop! (or trust your instincts and order from the array of products and receive it within a couple days if in “stock”)
